I’d like to talk a lot about numbers, both the figures I’ve generated for my clients and the numbers I’ve generated for myself and why some things in the freelance market make a lot of sense while others don’t, as well as how to charge your clients.

What kind of money you can expect from freelancing, as well as all the nitty-gritty details and lessons I’ve learned while freelancing for so many clients in so many industries, so without further ado, let’s get started.

How do I make Such Huge Money?

I started my freelance journey almost five years ago, but I didn’t start making enough money until about three years ago when I started offering marketing services to international clients.

I started with $300 to $400 per month, but now I charge around $1,000 to $2,000 per month per client on average, and my goal is to go up to at least $5,000 to $10,000 per month for the clients I work for, so that is my current status.

I’ve generated almost 1.3 million dollars in revenue for my clients in the last three years, which isn’t a huge number because there are a lot of people who make a lot more money with ads, but I do organic marketing.

So, it’s a little harder to get those kinds of results with organic marketing, so that’s where I’m from. I spent three years marketing other people’s courses and now I have my own course where I basically teach people how to make money online.

I never realized it until I did almost a $40,000 launch for a client and was getting paid thousands of dollars per month for it that I realized there was a problem with the model that I was getting paid at the right because I was generating them so much value but I wasn’t getting paid at the right because I was also offering marketing services, which is much more full-fledged than many other freelancing services.

So it’s like the revenue I’ve made for clients is far higher than the revenue I’ve generated selling my own course.

What is My real Strategy?

I enjoy bringing that information to my pupils and sharing it with them. So I loved doing it, but the package payment model wasn’t very profitable for me.

Because, again, my clients were making a lot of money, but I wasn’t getting paid fairly, despite the fact that I was the brains behind everything because most of my clients were new to business or didn’t have a lot of business acumen. So, after that, I decided to switch to a percentage revenue share plan.

If you’re unfamiliar with the percentage revenue share model, it’s when you don’t charge a flat fee but instead charge a proportion of your client’s revenue because that is what you have earned for them.

So it’s obviously dangerous because if your customer doesn’t make money, you don’t make money, but if you can build value, which I’m sure makes me a lot more money, right?

So, for example, if I had a $40,000 launch for a client, I would have made at least $4,000 because the usual price for the percentage revenue share model is around 10% to 20%.
